After we had changed the contour of our back yard and patio area 2-3 years ago, we detected a small wet spot on our carpet in the finished family room. Every time it rained we would have the same wet spot that grew larger as big as 4'x6' area. Being on concrete floor in the lower level of a split entry home it was hard to get it completely dry and keep it dry before the next rain. The work was completed in a short period of time and virtually no clean up. We were happy with the work and cost. We would recommend their work. The water was absorbed by wooden studding as well as carpeted floors and created severe amounts of mold. I tried all the waterproofing products available with absolutely no favorable results. This investment has allowed me to remodel the basement with no fear of water damage and certainly no more mold.

Since we have several streams running under our property, every time we got rain our cellar was very wet and damp. After having Waterproofing Specialties put in their system our basement is now completely dry. Even the water that came up through cracks in the concrete floor has been eliminated. We also had them install a vapor barrier on the walls and now there is no more musty odor or dampness.

Every time I walk into that room, I can't help but smile at the change of appearance this room has taken on. I'm 100% satisfied with the work that was done. Very glad we made that phone call after seeing the ad in the paper. Mr. Pura came and told us our problem. Next day they installed our SaniDry Air System dehumidifier and now we no longer have that damp odor and it has stopped mildew from forming. The unit is easy to maintain. We now use the rec room more often than before. Great investment.
