When we moved into our home we had water flowing all over the basement and gushing up through the cracks in the floor, making the basement useless. Some things we had put in before moving days such as carpet and storage boxes got wet. We had the basement waterproofed by Waterproofing Specialties Inc. and it has been completely dry since. One day when talking to a friend of mine in DuBois about my wet basement he recommended Waterproofing Specialties. I contacted them; they came and told me how they could fix my problem. They gave me an estimate and I had them do it. They did a fine, clean and very neat job. We now have a dry basement we can use without mildew and rusty tools. We should have had this done years ago. I had several issues with my basement. Humidity problems not solved by my dehumidifier; dampness in the crawlspace; and stone/brick walls that were beginning to leak. Waterproofing Specialties solved all three problems. In addition, leaking water from the basement door area was channeled to a drain. The basement is now dry.
