Our basement gets wet by the water the seeps in the walls, but mostly because the water comes up the drain pipe from outside. I also believe we have a mold problem and would just like and estimate to see what it would cost to fix it.

Hello,
My fiance and I are in the process of buying our first home, and the home inspector wants us to have a foundation expert inspect our foundation. We would like to have this done AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, since we are set to close on Feb. 28th and don't want to buy a house that is going to cost us a fortune to repair. The home is located in Port Allegany. Please contact me as soon as you can so I know I can stop looking for a contractor!

We have a poured wall basement under a double wide. There is a crack that water seeps in through. The previous owner attempted several DYI repairs without success.

Last Summer the lateral sewer lines were replaced to my house. Now I get water in my basement when it rains for a couple of days or when the snow melted. I think I need to have a sump pump installed and pipe put in to run the water out to the storm ditch by the street.

Full Basement underneath my home which is approximetly 1200 sq. feet. Bought the house about a year and a half ago, and basement appeared to be dry, however that is not the case. The previous owner had done a "good" job of hiding and covering the smells of a wet basement. The first thing I tried was completing a french drain across the front of the house, which appeared to help but didnt resolve the issue. When the yard was all dug up around the foundation we applied a coat of thoroseal to the outside, and then I later applied 2 coats of dry-lok to the inside. The problem "appeared" to go away. A short time later after a heavy spring rain I once again noticed water in the basement. It appears to be isolated to one general area, however I had already started refinishing the basement when I wrongly assumed the situation was under control. Now before any more renovations are complete I would like to get the situation taken care of once and for all. Please HELP!
